The amount of calorie you eat in a day should be more than the amount of calories you burn during your workout session. If you burn 2000 calories a day, then eat at least 4000-5000 calories every day.

- Share your experiences – You are a beginner so you need more ideas and methods. Share your experience and ideas with your gym mates post workouts. Learn from them and try to implement the ideas on your workout schedule. You will also learn what mistakes you are doing during your bulking cycle.
- Make a journal – Keep a work out journal. Note down your progress once in every week. Write down about your exercise routine and diet plan daily. This way you will be able to notice where you are lacking.
